Dream Spotlight | Recently, Dream Come True granted an unforgettable experience for a young boy, allowing him to meet Bryson Stott of the Philadelphia Phillies. The encounter brought immense joy and excitement, as he got to spend time with his favorite player. This special moment not only made his dream come true but also created cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Tony Dimick, one of our beloved board members passed away suddenly on May 17, 2024. Dream Come True lost a wonderful friend and supporter. A valued Dream Come True board member since April 2010, Tony quickly engulfed himself on our Referral and Fulfillment Committee. Nothing was too difficult for him. We knew when we partnered with him on a family visit he would be the shining star. All the dream children immediately connected with him and were comfortable with him. It was a beautiful sight when Tony went back for another visit and the dream children ran to hug him. Tony had a rare gift that everyone he met felt his positivity and he could immediately change the mood of a room. You could always count on him to volunteer to fulfill dreams and was consistently one of the top dream grantors. He went that extra mile for the families he worked with and always put their feelings first. He was a compassionate man and selflessly fulfilled dreams.
Tony also was our chairperson for our Restaurant Calendar. It was a tough job but he did it with precision and grace. He used his positive personality and attentive listening skills to keep our Calendar program a success.
Tony was always our go to guy and never said no, even when tasks were difficult.
Tony’s passing has left a huge hole in our hearts and Dream Come True will not be the same without him. Tony touched the lives of many children. He is a hard act to follow.

In 2018, Dream Come True sent a joyful teen on a dream cruise, where every wave brought smiles and splashes of delight. His adventure not only offered him a chance to explore new horizons but also provided unforgettable moments of happiness that he’ll treasure forever.
